Fund Details
Agri-Tech and Food Technology, Eastern England – Round 2 MFA
- Project Size: £25,000–£100,000
- Project Length: 6–12 months
- Intervention Rate: 100% –projects will be 100% funded
The aim of this competition is to support outstanding innovation projects led by businesses. Your business must be growing its innovation activities in the agri-tech and food technology cluster in Eastern England (Greater Lincolnshire Local Enterprise Partnership area, Cambridgeshire, Peterborough, Norfolk and Suffolk), and must contribute to growing innovation activities in the cluster both during and after the project.
The project can focus on one or more of the following:
- Enhancing the productivity of primary crops, livestock, aquaculture or ornamental crops
- Biotechnologies related to agriculture, aquaculture, food processing and nutrition
- Food that promotes safe, lower carbon or more sustainable healthy and nutritious diets
- Resource-efficient production and processing methods for low-emission foods
Agri-Tech and Food Technology, Eastern England – Round 3 CR&D
- Project Size: £150,000–£300,000
- Project Length: 6–18 months
You can get funding for your eligible project costs of up to 70% if you are a micro or small organisation, up to 60% if you are a medium-sized organisation, and up to 50% if you are a large organisation.
The project must contribute to growing your innovation activities in the cluster, both during and after the project. The application may be considered ineligible if you do not describe this clearly.
For this competition, Eastern England consists of the Greater Lincolnshire Local Enterprise Partnership area, Cambridgeshire, Peterborough, Norfolk, and Suffolk.
The geographical requirement is set to align this competition with the UK government’s goals for local economic growth.
