1. Net Zero Industry – South West WalesÂ
- Project Value: ÂŁ25,000–£100,000Â
- Deadline: 11 December 2024Â Â Â
The competition is to support outstanding innovation projects led by businesses based in South West Wales. Businesses must be growing their innovation activities in the Net Zero sector.Â
Your project must:Â
- Have a total grant funding request between ÂŁ25,000 and ÂŁ100,000Â
- Last between 6 and 12 monthsÂ
- Carry out all its project work in the UKÂ
- Intend to exploit the results from or in the UKÂ
- Not start before 1 April 2025Â
- End by 30 June 2023Â
 2. Agri-Tech and Food Technology – Mid and North WalesÂ
- Project Value: ÂŁ25,000–£100,000Â
- Deadline: 11 December 2024Â Â Â
UK registered businesses can apply for a share of up to ÂŁ1.5 million for projects that grow their innovation activities in the agri-tech and food technology cluster.Â
Projects can focus on one or more of the following:Â
- Productivity or nutritional contentÂ
- Food processing or marketsÂ
- Sustainability or biodiversityÂ
3. Life and Health Sciences – Northern IrelandÂ
- Project Value: ÂŁ25,000–£100,000 (MFA)/ÂŁ150,000–£1 million (CRD&D)Â
- Deadline: 11 December 2024Â Â Â
Innovate UK will invest up to ÂŁ4.3 million in innovation projects that target the life and health sciences innovation cluster in Northern Ireland.Â
This competition is split into two strands:Â
- Launchpad: Life and Health Sciences, Northern Ireland, Round 2 De Minimis or Minimal Financial Assistance (MFA)Â
- Launchpad: Life and Health Sciences, Northern Ireland, Round 2 Collaborative Research and Development (CR&D)Â
Projects can focus on one or more of the following:Â
- Diagnostics, therapeutics and biomarkers Â
- Data, digital and medical devicesÂ
- Innovations in healthcare service deliveryÂ
Projects can also consider the following enabling areas:Â
- Artificial intelligence, machine learning, quantumÂ
- Advanced therapies, novel formulation or deliveryÂ
- Regulation or ethicsÂ
- Supporting innovation in skills developmentÂ
To lead a project your business must:Â
- Be a UK-registered business of any sizeÂ
- Be or involve at least one grant claiming micro, small or medium-sized enterprise (SME)Â
- Collaborate with other UK-registered organisationsÂ
- Be growing its innovation activities in the life and health sciences cluster in Northern IrelandÂ
- Have a demonstrable ambition for business growthÂ
4. Immersive and Creative – Coventry and Warwickshire Â
- Project Value: ÂŁ25,000–£100,000 (MFA)/ÂŁ150,000–£1 million (CRD&D)Â
- Deadline: 11 December 2024Â Â Â
UK-registered businesses can apply for a share of up to ÂŁ4.35 million for projects that grow their innovation activities in the immersive and creative industries cluster centred on Coventry and Warwickshire in the West Midlands.Â
This competition is split into two strands:Â
- Launchpad: immersive and Creative, Coventry and Warwickshire, Collaborative Research and Development (CR&D), Round 2 (this strand)Â
- Launchpad: Immersive and Creative, Coventry and Warwickshire, Minimal Financial Assistance (MFA), Round 2Â
To lead this project, your business must:Â

UK-registered businesses can apply for a share of up to ÂŁ5.25 million for projects that grow their innovation activities in the bio-based manufacturing innovation cluster in Scotland.Â
This competition is split into two strands:Â
- Launchpad: Bio-Based Manufacturing Innovation in Scotland, Collaborative Research and Development (CR&D), Round 2Â
- Launchpad: Bio-Based Manufacturing Innovation in Scotland, Minimal Financial Assistance (MFA), Round 2Â

- Biomass supply chain developmentÂ
